| The Ministry of Finance
and Treasury will be the executing agency (EA) for the Project and
will be responsible for approval and coordination of all
disbursements. Selection of consultants and coordination of
participating ministries at the central level will be carried out
through the PMU established in MPND. The EA and MPND will coordinate
closely with MOAA to provide logistic support for the RDMOs and PIUs.
By definition, the EA for all aid agency assisted projects is MOFT,
but the administrative function are carried out by a sister
ministry, which in this case is MPND, which has during the
formulation of the Project, demonstrated it has well qualified and
competent staff appropriate for project administration. |
